Zhaneel feels like she is doing an absolutely terrible job of this and it's just pressing the point that she should stay in her room and leave everyone alone. "This is the fourth time it's happened, as if on schedule, though the number of people that arrive each time varies."
She keeps her hand in his, hoping it helps him focus a little bit better and when his questions focus a little more she takes comfort that maybe it is actually helping him. And then she grimaces because, no Sam, of course it can't be that easy.

There are doors and windows that will not open to the outside, and though there is a courtyard, it is walked off as well." She swallows and shakes her head. "Some vanish as readily as they appeared, no warning, but there is no hint of why."
