Sam slumps back into the chair, disheartened but not ready to immediately admit defeat. That's just enough cryptic bullshit to feel right up his alley. He'll have to give the hotel a once-over of his own, figure out the how's and why's.
Maybe not right now, though. He's frankly a little too lightheaded for anything more strenuous than walking, which is just great, really, it's fantastic is what it is.
"Okay." His forehead wrinkles as he tries, once again, to formulate an actual timeline. "So like - creepy hotel. People get pulled in, no idea why, and there's no way out." He leans back to rest his head on the chair's back, breathing out a gusty sigh. "Sounds familiar."
