She nodded, surprised that he actually experienced magic. Whether or not this is serendipity isn't clear. She's at least grateful there is somewhere here that might understand where her thoughts drift to. Not everyone believed magic, but he did, and that was comforting.

"Maybe it's fate you're here instead?" It was the only bright side that she could think of. It's better than maybe not being around. "It's not where you meant to be, but it's maybe where you need to be?" She offered to him.
