Lobby

He'd run downstairs only to find a lobby--a rather retro hotel lobby--with no clear sign of an exit outside.

As if it wasn't enough to charge down the stairs the way he had (SO not tactically sound) but there was the matter of his suitcase in hand. If it was really his (doubtful. Not even his grandfather's Howling Commando case had a name written across the handle), he should have opened it and looked for clues before rushing out how he did. Something compelled him to.

Yet nothing was calling to him on the lobby floor.

Trip rushed up to the front desk and rang the bell but not a soul appeared. He finally looked around the lobby. A few... people? There was a green woman. He didn't mean to stare but she was really green. Really green. Antoine was stuck trying to understand just what kind of dream he was having. It didn't feel like a nightmare yet, not having seen one familiar face. Yet he could feel a light sheen of sweat from rushing down the stairs. He didn't remember ever sweating while in a dream before.

He should have at least closed his mouth instead of staring with it hanging open. His mother and grandmother would be mortified. They had taught him better manners than that.
