Even as a child, Capa hadn't been egg hunting. His family tried for many years, but he wasn't interested in it. He didn't find candy to be all that interesting, nor did he think that finding eggs was a challenge. When he was old enough, he hid eggs for his sister and, eventually, would do the same for her children. But there was only so much Easter egg hunting that he could take.
So when the ballroom opened up to show its new tricks, Capa was more confused than excited. He felt a brief shudder of anxiety, especially considering what had happened to them in the past month. Yet, it all seemed harmless enough, especially when his initial inspection of a brightly colored egg awarded him a small handful of jellybeans. He stood by the door a moment longer, enough to pop the sweet into his mouth, before he gave up and took a basket, gathering up the eggs...
