As prickly as she's been, it does help to have someone be kind to her. She's still not feeling particularly sane or reasonable but it's calming to have Trip around (he's both of those things).

"I'd like that," she admits. Cash bites at her bottom lip. In the past she's not allowed herself to linger on thoughts of what life could be like. What other choice does she have now? Trip has a point - they'd both come to to the hotel after the worst happened. Gloss could be next. She can focus on that and try to take things one day at a time. Or one hour a time.

"Trip?" She asks quietly. "Will you stay for a while?" She could use the company.
